What is the CYBL?

The Cactus Youth Baseball League, or CYBL, is based out of Maryvale, a neighborhood located in Phoenix, Arizona. The league’s goal is to provide a community atmosphere and keep kids off the streets by providing a safe environment to enjoy America’s pastime.

I was able to meet with Reese Terrano, the founder, and president of the CYBL. We spoke on the opening day of the 2023 season.

The community atmosphere is critical to the league’s goal of empowering the Maryvale Community. In the video linked above, I was able to get the perspective of parents of players in CYBL, and their answers truly revealed the importance of the league.
